How this got started: I had been training dogs as a hobbyist for 29 years and training therapy dogs and working with various therapy dog groups for about 10 years, when one day years ago, while shopping at Petco with one of my dogs, the manager was so impressed with my dogs behavior that he asked me if I would like to train dogs for Petco. I thought about it and decided why not? It's what I spend a large percentage of my time doing anyway. And I thought this might also be a good way to put my Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Sam Houston State University to use regarding addressing behavioral issues while doing something that I love. So I went through Petco's extensive 6 month formal Dog Trainer's training program. It was not long before I decided to branch out on my own. Since then, I have invested quite a deal of time into furthering my education on my own. I am currently teaching/training in the areas of Basic Obedience, Therapy Dogs and Mobility Service dogs in and around Montgomery County Texas ( Montgomery and Lake Conroe area).

and a cat.
So I am intimately familiar with working with all sized dogs from giant breeds to medium breeds to small ones.

Over time, I have been blessed to work with all manor of breeds with all manor of needs. Although, I am considered by some local vets in Montgomery County, Texas as a Great Pyrenees specialist of sorts. They are my go to breed for Mobility Service Dogs due to their size and the stability of the platform.
This is the day I saved Loki's life. That's animal control trucks and officers behind me. They were out to get him. If I would have been 10 minutes later going to rescue him from living behind the gas station he would never have been there and he would have gone to an 85% kill rate shelter.
